Memory of a part of childhood (2)
When the Japanese bombed our house, he was hiding under the cutting table. The house came crashing down and he died. He was just over 20 years old and his wife and baby girl were left to take care of themselves. I also had two cousins ages 3 and 5 years old. They were both sick. They died while hiding from evildoers when the city was being destroyed. They died because oxygen was deficient in the small cave they and many others were hiding in. To this day, this is a sad memory for me.
